Where Is Media Browser On Mac For Logic Pro
In Logic Pro X, when auditioning audio files in the Media Browser, is there a way to assign the audio out to the Prelisten channel strip, or to another channel within Logic? Project files in the Browser automatically play back though the Prelisten channel strip, but files in the Media Browser do not appear to. Are you able to switch from Media to Loops Browser? If not, click on the Apple symbol (upper left corner of the screen) > Force Quit > see if the app is marked as 'Not Responding'. If it does, you could force quit Logic and launch it again. I'd recommend to reboot the computer before that, though. See if that clears the problem.

Stock Logic’s Media Browser is terrible, use Alchemy’s Sample Browser instead of it! Dwg viewer for mac. /////////////////////////////////////////////////// I guess every Logic X user have come across the problem of storing, organising and using samples in this DAW, excellent in other aspects. Inspite of it’s advantages, Logic’s weakness is it’s terrible Media Browser.
Yes it does it’s job but in such an inconvenient way that i can hardly use it. And Logic’s developing team doesn’t even seem like trying to solve this problem. In practice it is much more convenient and simple to use Finder to search and pre-listen samples.
It is 2016 now and all the major DAWs have powerful and convenient browsers onboard. Take a look at Ableton Live’s browser or Cubase’s Media Bay. I don’t even mention other Maschines and Bitwigs.
But since version 10.1 when Apple announced Logic Pro X Alchemy, we have an opportunity to manage samples as easy as in any other modern DAW. You can use Logic Pro X Alchemy’s browser in the same manner as you would do using Ableton’s browser.
You can store you favourite samples folders here, drag and drop samples right into your project or any third party sampler. And apart from it Logic Pro X Alchemy is an exceptionally powerfull sampling synthesizer with a huge stock sample library. Watch this video to learn how to tweak up Logic Pro X Alchemy to work as a browser in Logic X instead of Media Browser.
